Kingsroy is pleased to present 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑰𝒏, a combined exhibition showing recent works from Northland artists Mike Petre and Vicki Fanning. Although exhibiting separately over many years, this will be the first time they have shown together.



Mike and Vicki live together in Matakana, where they have converted a farm shed into a studio. They have lovingly restored a derelict house on the same property (built in 1860), and over the years have created a home and space for many creative souls.



“Outside In” references the juxtaposition between the themes and the realisation of the creative process.

Mike’s paintings are inspired by the rural landscape and his farming background in nearby Pio Pio. Vicki’s ceramic and glass pieces are based on the distribution of abstracted internet content.
